Noni fruit, popular fruit in India and Hawaii, is said to cure most ailments afflicting the people who live there. For many years, people have been adding noni fruit in to their medicines. This fruit grows in tropical areas and needs the hot, humid air to survive. Finding this fruit in the continental United States is very difficult. The fruit must be imported from another country or from Hawaii. Noni fruit has been used to lower blood pressure, decrease constipation, and in some cases ease inflammation of tissue throughout the body. An anti-oxidant, the fruit rids the body of all impurities.

The noni fruit has a hard casing from which flowers bloom. This is the fruit part of the plant which is harvested for other uses. Little beads on top of the casing contain seeds which can travel very far over land and sea. This explains why the fruit can be found in different places. The seeds grow and noni fruit thrives. Eating the fruit is not suggested as its taste is very bitter. The smell is even worse. This is why people put the fruit extract tin to other foods or drink in order to hide the smell and the taste.

Importing noni fruit can be expensive since the trees are hard to find and the fruit is difficult to pick due to the smell. The fruit is coveted by local people who believe in its healing properties and who do not want to share it with others. They are afraid the fruit will disappear completely. Other uses for the fruit are being discovered daily as it has been known to cure many health problems. Noni fruit is worth trying to see if it can really heal a person’s body. By combining it with other herbs, the fruit does have the power to cure certain problems.
